Research shows that teaching children about the risks of substance abuse and violence, while promoting positive activities instead, greatly reduces the chance that a child will fall prey later. In response, the Mercer County Gang Task Force, Trenton Municipal Alliance and PACE Charter School of Hamilton have collaborated to create the “Tips for Parents & Kids Resource Calendar.” Made for kids with artwork by kids, this project is designed to promote the message that drugs, alcohol and violence cause harm.
